What We Restore

Water damage. Burst pipes, appliance leaks, sump pump failures, storm damage, flooding, and sewer backups. We remove standing water, dry the structure, and check for moisture you can’t see.

Fire and smoke damage. After the fire department leaves, the damage keeps going. We secure the property, deal with water from firefighting, clean soot and smoke, and work with your insurance company.

Mold remediation. We inspect and test to find out how far the mold has spread, contain the area with barriers, negative air pressure and HEPA air scrubbers, remove the mold and contaminated materials, and sanitize.

Storm, flood, and sewage damage. Storm damage, river and surface flooding, and sewer backups are part of our regular work across the region. These often involve contaminated water, which needs extra safety steps. See our sewage cleanup services.

Contents and textiles cleaning. Furniture, clothing, and other belongings affected by water, fire, or smoke. See content and textiles cleaning.

What Happens When You Call

  1. You talk to a real person, any hour. We ask what happened, whether anyone is in danger, and what you can see.
  2. We assess the damage. Water, fire, and mold losses each need a different plan, so we figure out what you’re dealing with first.
  3. We stop the damage from spreading. That can mean removing standing water, boarding up or tarping, or containing mold.
  4. We clean, dry, and restore. Then we work with your insurance company and document the loss.

Why Local Matters

Restoration is a race against time. Water can start causing mold in 24 to 48 hours, and soot and smoke odor get harder to remove the longer they sit. A company that is already in your area and answers its own phone helps. Clean Restoration is locally owned, not a franchise, and owner Jeff Butler is involved in the work.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a damage restoration company do? A damage restoration company cleans up and repairs a property after water, fire, smoke, or mold damage. That typically means stopping further damage, removing water or soot, drying and cleaning the structure, and working with your insurance company.

What areas does Clean Restoration serve? We have offices in Quincy, IL and Burlington, IA, and serve Hannibal and Kirksville, MO, along with Macomb, Rushville, Pittsfield, Keokuk, and surrounding communities. Call the office nearest you to confirm coverage.

Do you offer 24/7 emergency service? Yes. Water, fire, and mold emergencies don’t keep business hours, and neither do we.

What types of damage do you restore? Water damage, fire and smoke damage, mold, storm damage, flooding, and sewage backups, for both homes and businesses.

Do you work with insurance companies? Yes. We document the damage and work with your insurance company throughout the claim. Your policy decides what is covered, so check with your agent too.

Who should I call first, my insurance company or a restoration company? If the property is unsafe, call 911 first. Then call a restoration company right away, since delays make water, smoke, and mold damage worse, and notify your insurance company. You generally don’t need to wait for an adjuster to begin emergency mitigation, but your policy may have specific requirements, so ask your agent.
